Dreepy is almost certainly something many trainers will look to Paldea for in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, as it evolves into the vicious Dragapult. Whether it’s for competition or just to win the game, who doesn’t want a blazing fast Ghost/Dragon typing with plenty of coverage moves? However, Dreepy is hard to catch, and it may take a lot of searching to find one.
Where to find Dreepy in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
Despite being hard to find, Dreepy actually has many habitats it can appear in in Paldea. There are many areas in the South Province, East Province, North Province, and West Province where Dreepy can appear.
The problem is that it’s incredibly low spawn. Trainers will likely have to walk through these areas for a while before seeing a Dreepy. We did find one in the East Province around Zapapico, but this was after a couple of hours of exploring.

If any trainer is just looking for a good Dragon-type, the best place to look is probably on top of the mountains in the Southern Province, Area Five. Even if trainers don’t see Dreepy here, there are plenty of other dragons like Swablu (which evolves into Altaria), Bagon, and even Axew.
Alternatively, if trainers have the swim feature on Koraidon or Miraidon, they can jump off the mountain and search the lake just below. We found two Dreepy after a couple of laps around the lake.
