Hundreds of Americans Will Die From COVID Today

In the last week, COVID has killed an average of 491 Americans each day.

This is what The New York Times's research shows.

The number was 382 the week before. 494, the week before.

No matter how you look at it, that's still a lot of deaths every day.

No one knows for sure what will happen in the year 2023.

But as a point of comparison, 200 deaths a day would mean 73,000 deaths a year.

In this case, COVID would still be one of the top 10 causes of death in the U.S.

Covid kills about twice as many people as a normal flu season or a year's worth of car accidents.
