Currently, the 9/11 Museum is about to permanently close its doors this week.
Due to its failure to recover from numerous epidemic setbacks, the famous monument is closing.
The 9/11 Museum's founders announced the closure in a statement they released in March.
In 2017, the project's funding came from the September 11th Families' Association.
As with many other monuments and museums during the pandemic, the association claimed months before that the museum had seen a fall in visitation.
The museum wasn't making enough money to keep running because of the low attendance.
Sadly, the severity of the pandemic losses has made it impossible to maintain the monument.
However, even though the museum will no longer be physically present, the organization plans to maintain the museum online.
