The first recommended stop for Pokemon Scarlet & Violet while traversing the story of Starfall Street is Dark Crew. Players should have their Pokémon level up to at least 21, as there are a lot of battles involved upon reaching each base. Dark is weak to Fighting, Fairy, and Bug, so there are plenty of options for what to bring to the fight. There are plenty of battles to be had, so this is everything players need to know about how to defeat the Star Dark Crew in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.
How to defeat Team Star Dark Crew in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
Upon first arriving at the Dark Crew location in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet, players will immediately have to fight one of the Grunts. Ideally, players will have beaten the Steel Titan before this point, as it will be a bit more difficult than that fight. The cutscene for Dark Crew will begin when the players are close enough to the gate in Area One of the Western Province and the trainer will bring out a level 19 Murkrow. It is a dark/flying type, which makes it weak to Dark Crew moves. ice, rock, electricity and fairy.
Once the trainer is defeated, players will have to use the Auto Battle system with their first three Pokémon in their party to defeat a total of 30 Team Star Pokémon while running. They all send out Dark-type Pokemon and some will have double writes, making the usual method of using Fighting, Fairy, and Bug Pokemon not deal super effective damage. If players reach low HP with their Pokémon, they can run to a vending machine to restore their HP. 10 minutes are given to defeat 30 Pokémon and these are all the Pokémon that can appear:
- pawn – Darkness/Steel weak to Fire, Fighting and Earth.
- murkrow – Dark/Flying weak to Electric, Ice, Rock and Fairy.
- Zorua – Pure Dark weak to Fighting, Bug and Fairy.
- nymble – Pure Bug weak to Flying, Fire and Rock.
- sableye – Darkness/Ghost weak to Fairy.
- sneasel – Darkness/Ice weak to Fighting, Rock, Fire, Bug, Steel and Fairy.
- Stinky – Poison/Dark weak to Ground.

How to beat Giacomo (Team Star Dark Boss) in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
After the wave of 30 Pokemon, players will battle Giacomo, the boss of the Dark Crew in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. has level 21 pawn and he will use his 20 Bathroom against the player once Pawniard is defeated. The Revavroom acts like a pure dark-type, but can deal a lot of damage if players aren’t careful. Both the dark and ghost types will resist his dark moves if players are looking for defensive options, but as long as they bring Pokemon that can hit him super effectively, it shouldn’t be a problem.
